Last friday our HR Manager called me at work. She wanted to meet me in her office. So I went downstairs and we sat down in one of the meetingrooms that we have at IKEA. Then she started talking. "We have made an desicion... You are a very straightforward, attentive, communicative, hardworking co-worker that many people in the management team have noticed since you have come here to us in Switzerland. Many of them have a very positive impression of you. We see that you have potentials to grow as a co-worker and person to become a future teamleader at IKEA and therefore we want to have you in this years development training team." Guess if I was excited to hear that! That was the best compliment I have had since I started at IKEA three years ago! So from July or August (I have not got any information about when it starts) I will attend at trainings one day every week for one year. I'm really looking forward to it.
